Congrats to All Those Receiving Acceptance Letters from Colleges/Universities

Congrats to all the students who have received acceptance letters for the upcoming school year! For most of you, when you received your acceptance letters, you also received your financial aid packages.

We have 2 questions for you:

1) Is your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) higher than what you can afford?

2) Does your (or your child's) financial aid package contain any loans?

If you answered yes to either question, you need our help!

To help you out, we have created a course that teaches you how to navigate the conversation with Financial Aid over the phone. (For those of you with the Scholarship Academy - this information is already in there). We have also created a "Financial Aid Appeal Letter" template. You can use our template to guide you in writing your appeal letter to your school's financial aid office.

I just wanted to tell you thank you for your advice and encouragement about applying for scholarships for my daughter, Jaleah. When I tell you that we are absolutely on beast-mode now! We have submitted 16 applications so far following the simple steps you encouraged us to do. I knew I was on the right path but wanted confirmation. You confirmed for me that our efforts would pay off. And yes...I do believe they will. Thank you so much.
